The Surprising Discovery of the House of Three Bears
A young girl wandered away from her home and ventured deep into the forest. At first, it felt like an exciting adventure, but soon the tall trees surrounded her, and she realized she was lost. Fear crept into her heart as she searched for a path back home, but every direction looked the same.
After wandering for a long time, the girl stumbled upon a small wooden house hidden among the trees. The door was slightly open. Curious and tired, she peeked inside. Seeing no one around, she quietly stepped in, hoping to find help.
Inside the dining room, she found three bowls of soup on the table—big, medium, and small. Feeling hungry, she tasted from each bowl. The smallest bowl, belonging to little Mishutka, tasted the best, and she happily finished it all.
Next, the girl saw three chairs. She tried the biggest one but found it uncomfortable. The middle one didn’t feel right either. Finally, she sat on the smallest chair—it was perfect! She laughed and rocked back and forth until suddenly… crack! The chair broke beneath her.
Feeling tired, she entered the bedroom and saw three beds. The large one was too big, the medium one too high, but the smallest bed fit her perfectly. She lay down and quickly fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Meanwhile, the three bears—big Mikhail Ivanovich, medium Nastasya Petrovna, and little Mishutka—returned home hungry. They noticed something was wrong. Their soup had been tasted… and Mishutka’s bowl was empty!
The bears moved around the house, noticing the disturbed chairs and broken seat. Finally, they entered the bedroom. Mishutka climbed up and suddenly saw the girl sleeping in his bed. He screamed loudly in shock.
The girl woke up suddenly and saw the three bears staring at her. Terrified, she jumped out of the bed, ran to the open window, and escaped as fast as she could. The bears chased her, but she was too quick and disappeared into the forest.
